FCL Terminal Transfer Procedure

In an effort to improve customer service and reliability, effective Monday December 2nd, 2019 the new process for trailer to trailer (FCL) terminal transfers will be as follows:

A booking will be required prior to delivery of full container load (FCL) cargo – Please email your SIL documentation/logistics coordinator or
customerservice@seacorislandlines.com your request.

  • Information required for the booking:
    • Determine Commodity Type
    • Determine Piece Count
    • Shipper Information – contact name and number
    • Consignee Information– contact name and number
    • Trucker Information – if required
    • Port of Discharge required
    • Commodity (Hazmat)
    • Special Handling – if required

 

NOTE: Standard detention/demurrage and storage rates apply. Insurance clause per SIL terms and conditions. Additional fees may apply for overweight and out of gauge equipment.
